The Shipstrike Clock has a precision key wind German movement that sounds the traditional ship's bell strike on the hour and half hour- one bell for each half hour on a four hour watch at sea. After eight bells, at four, eight, and twelve, the sequence repeats itself beginning with one bell. A uniquely satisfying way to mark the passage of time. It is available in either a 4 1/2" or 6" dial with a hinged or screw bezel. Clock can be purchased alone for wall mounting or, if purchased with a base, it can later be removed from the base for wall mounting if desired. This clock does not have a shut-off for the strike/chime. Mfr. list price below is for the 4 1/2" dial clock with a screw bezel, the traditional base and engraving plate. Two year manufacturer's limited warranty. Special Order Item- Not Returnable. Generally ships in about 2-4 weeks.
