The Ship's Bell- 8 1/2" Dial
The Ship's Bell Clock by Chelsea signals the
passage of time with the gentle chimes that recall the language and lore of the
sea. One bell for each half hour, eight bells at 4, 8 and 12 o'clock to make the
end of a mariner's watch. No need to look at the clock's hand-silvered
dial or etched enamel numbers- except to admire the understated elegance.
This is a work of art that truly tells time. Inside each Ship's Bell clock
are hundreds of precision parts, many plated with gold or fabricated with
jewels, to ensure accuracy and endure the rigors of the sea. Indeed they are as
beautiful on the inside as they are to behold, as pleasing to the eye as they
are to the ear. This is the larges Ship's Bell Clock offered by
Chelsea. This 8 1/2" dial clock is offered in
the natural golden yellow color of forged brass OR it can be nickel-plated for a
white metal color. This clock has a hinged bezel and can be ordered as the clock only for wall
mounting or the clock on a traditional or contemporary mahogany base for display
on a desk, mantel or tabletop. Delivered to you in a luxury blue
presentation gift box. All Ship's Bell clocks are individually numbered and
registered in Chelsea's manufacturing log book. |
